PlayStation Mobile has been released for Android but only few of the devices certified by Sony can enjoy the new app. We have a solution to this problem provided you're rooted.

Remember, You will need a rooted device in order to successfully follow this tutorial. You can check out our blog for how to root your Android phone or if not found refer xda developers.

Step 1: Download and install the PlayStation Mobile Store APK. You can download PlayStation mobile from here.

Step 2: Download the flashable ZIP from one of the links over at AndroidPolice:

Step 3: Next, you must flash the ZIP from a custom recovery, such as ClockWorkMod recovery.

Step 4: Reboot your device, after which, the PlayStation app would be working fine. You’ll need to register a Sony Entertainment Network account if you haven’t already, but from then onwards, you should be able to play games.

Apparently, the PlayStation Mobile Store APK runs well on the Nexus 7, although has been said to crash on others, so you may not wish to try this out out on your daily driver.
