How To Install Instagram Unofficially On Blackberry Z10 [Video]

Blackberry has become a recognized Smartphone these days. However not all notable Apps are yet available in recent Blackberry 10 OS but still people owning such smartphone crave of somehow getting those apps. Either officially or perhaps unofficially.

Good news for the Blackberry Z10 users who are in love with famous photo sharing & editing app Instagram can now install and run safely a stable version of Instagram on their Blackberry Z10.

The official Instagram is not yet available on the Blackberry App world yet but there are some easy techniques to install it on your Blackberry Z10 as it's confirmed working stable on that Smartphone.

However, it's not too straight & simple as that in android phones just requiring an .apk file and installing on your device, but the blackberry installing procedure is somehow little different.

First of all you will require the Bar file, download here.
Then you need DDPB which allows installing from external source to your device download here.
Your computer should have Java Runtime installed before continuing the process.

Follow the video below to gather complete process of installation.

The above video is just a glimpse of Instagram running on Blackberry Z10 thanks to saadi703.

Another video which was made for installing Whatsapp below is the actual process however do not forget the bar file you will use is the one above mentioned, it's just a process which is similar to that of Whatsapp installation steps.

The app works great on Blackberry Z 10 and the installation steps is only tested for that device only. So if you are trying to get it on any other Blackberry handset with the above procedure then you may likely find yourself in some trouble.

Play PSP Games On iOS, Android, Windows And BlackBerry As PSP Emulator PPSSPP Is Now Available

Gaming these days has managed to comfortably shift from Consoles to smartphones. Particularly when we are seeking hand held gaming devices, our choices has widened from selective PSP or Nintendo DS's to high end Android/iOS Smartphones. Well, Sony PSP long back created a rift among Gamers particularly in Hand-held gaming sections but now it's long lost and forgotten.

Long back then Games such as God of War, Virtual Tennis, Tekken, etc had good graphics and strong game-play. People have moved to Android and iOS's these days and buying PSP even for 6,000 (INR) is a big deal. Time has discarded PSP and people who have already invested genuine amount of money in their massive smartphones don't want to get a old generation PSP. Still knowing games of that time were real good and the list can go long.

Why did that happen anyways? Truly i being one of the Sony PSP fan-boys honestly feel a monopoly in the market. Good titles stopped coming and the games quality in the PSP section started to depreciate it's quality. Probably they had to push the PS-Vita up. Nerveless that's not our concern here.

Good news for people wanting to try out those titles directly on their Smartphone, PPSSPP has released portable PSP emulator version 0.7  for Android, Windows, Apple, Blackberry devices.

Earlier such emulator was coded for iOS devices only but finally the Android version it out. You might think the quality and frame rates may vary in actual device and here but that's nothing to worry about as they have already tested on few games and it does work pretty fine.
The tested games from the developer includes God of War, Wipe-out Pure, Virtual Tennis. The complete list can be checked here and also to note some games have glitches and they are displayed in the compatibility list here. So before you proceed installing you can check out the game performance there.

iOS users can check the video below as it works in that platform too and that's nothing new.

For the download link please visit here directly to the "ppsspp.org" website here.
Android users can also get it from play-store here.

Gaming on PSP was quite fun earlier and those who haven't tried titles because they had Android and lacked possessing PSP must start trying installing this emulator and enjoy seamless gaming. We haven't tested this ourselves but going through the videos and earlier applications of this developers i can assure it will work for you too.

You are free to comment here in case you face any glitch.

BlackBerry Z10 Review

Finally the wait is over,Here is one of the most awaited phone of this year, Blackberry Z10. BlackBerry Z10 is BB's first smartphone based on the brand new BlackBerry 10 platform. This phone has been in rumors for quite a while and people were expecting it to compete with Android and iOS .BlackBerry Z10 hold its own against top-notch rivals like Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy Note II, Nokia Lumia 920, HTC Butterfly and Sony Xperia Z. But can BB Z10 make its way to the top and regain it's lost reputation?? Lets See.
It has launched in India with a price tag of ₹43,490.

Build Quality

Trust me, when you look at this phone for the first time it will blow your mind. Smooth curves, extreme sleek design,It looks something like combo of iPhone5 and HTC one.  The front has a big bezel on top as well as bottom of the touchscreen, which adds to its height a bit. Just above the display lie the earpiece, the front camera and the status LED. The Power button is still holding its position on the top (like other BB devices) and the 3.5mm audio jack alongside. The left edge has the Micro-USD and microHDMI ports and the right side has the volume rocker with the mute button nestled in between

Screen

BlackBerry Z10 comes with Capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with a 4.2-inch 1280x768 display (355 ppi) that grows on you as you use the phone. The display is not the brightest we have seen though Visibility was impressive under the Sun.

Specifications

BlackBerry Z10 is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM, while the graphics are handled by the Adreno 225 GPU. Battery life is merely average, not so great. The phone comes with 16GB onboard storage and supports microSD cards up to 64GB.

Camera

On the back of BlackBerry Z10 is an 8-megapixel camera, capable of taking 1080p stabilized video. The Image quality is good but not comparable to that of iPhone 5 or Lumia 920. You can record either 720p or 1080p video, though you can't click a picture while shooting a video. The 2-megapixel front camera also offers 720p video capture that comes in pretty hand with video over BBM.

Software

Everyone was quite excited about the BB10 OS.There were several rumors and alpha devices suggesting different things about the OS but lets see How it actually is ?

The new OS brings a new twist to a tried-and-tested interface of BlackBerry phones and does a good job as there is only a small learning curves .Yes, there are a few bugs that crop up once in a while, but nothing major. The most important gesture, however, is swiping up and to the right. This exposes the BlackBerry Hub, which aggregates all your forms of connectivity into a single, overpowering list. In BlackBerry 10, you get a home screen that doubles up as the app menu, task switcher.
However, for anyone else looking for a smartphone that lets them browse the Internet, use emails, Facebook and Twitter, click the occasional picture, as well as do a bit of casual gaming, BlackBerry 10 is definitely worth a second look.

Connectivity

It has quite the features that is packed in every other device. It supports GPRS adnd Edge.It has a speed of HSDPA 21 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps; LTE, EV-DO Rev. A, up to 3.1 Mbps.WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual band Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, LE,And ofcourse NFC.Those are all paired with 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0, while the phone also offers accelerometer, gyro, magnetometer and GPS.

So, What do guys think? Time for Blackberry Boys to come back in action and show what it really is to own a Blackberry!!
Do comment and let us know what you feel.

BlackBerry 10 Could be Launched in the First Quarter of 2013

By Harsh Vardhan (Facebook) (Twitter)

While the iOS and Android gets multiple updates every while, there seems to be no news from another SmartPhone Giant Blackberry. Doesn't seems to be much true as they are on track for a 2013 Q1 launch of BlackBerry 10. While this year Blackberry kept postponing it again and again and the project moved on to 2013.

The launch scheduled this year which later was kept on testing due to its failures has been confirmed by RIM CEO Thorsten Heins that BB10 will be available in 2013 and its getting tested currently to 50 carriers.

On a letter he announced:

"I'm very pleased to confirm that we have passed a critical milestone in the development of our brand new mobile computing platform, BlackBerry 10,” Heins wrote. “In the last week, BlackBerry 10 achieved Lab Entry with more than 50 carriers — a key step in our preparedness for the launch of BlackBerry 10 in the first quarter of 2013.”

Delays however shows that Blackberry is taking time to test its operating system well so that it will be available without any technical issues. After losing their 4th place position to ZTE in terms of shipping volumes it will be huge struggle for BB to get better spot.

Let us know how you feel about this post, will BB 10 be the saviour?
