WhatsApp For iPad Available To Download Using WhatsPad (Jailbreak Tweak)

iPad is an amazing device but sometimes it lacks some of the cooler stuffs that iPhone or other Android device have. Whatsapp is something which is popular and has replaced the SMS due to it's fast functionality. But unfortunately Whatsapp is not available on iPad yet.

Still it's not difficult to get it on your iPad if your iPad is jailbroken and if you haven't done it yet follow http://evasi0n.com/.

You need a Jailbroken iPad before proceeding.

First download the Whatsapp on your iPad. You can't directly install if from the App Store as there is no Whatsapp for iPad available yet. There are different method to install it, one of my favorite method is to use  vShare. vShare is an installous alternative and is widely used after installous was shut down. Or use any such app like alternative to vShare where you can browse app and install directly on your iPad without using iTunes. It's even easy to install through cydia.

It's also not even necessary to have wifi+3G iPad as it works also on iPad with wifi version also.

After you have installed Whatsapp on your iPad and it appears on your Springboard it won't work right away.

Install WhatsPad tweak from the BigBoss repository through cydia.

After installation your Springboard will restart.

You are ready to use it after installing the Whatspad tweak. It works similar to as in iPhone.

How To Make WhatsApp Free For Lifetime

"WhatsApp", A revolutionary messaging application  which completely eliminated the so called term 'SMS'. Now, people usually refer to the phrase "WhatsApp me" instead of "message me". Now, the problem with WhatsApp is that you have to pay 0.99$ on iOS to get it but once you purchase it, it's free for lifetime. Whereas, on Android and other platforms it's free for 1 year after which you have to pay 0.99$ every year to use it. Quiet disappointing. But there's always a way to get things for free and same goes for Whatsapp too. Today, I am gonna tell you how to make WhatsApp's subscription free for lifetime.

All you need is,
  • Apple Account
  • Patience
  • iPhone (temporary)
Lets begin.
Starting of with 'Apple Account', you need to create one. Just download and install 'itunes' and from there you can easily create your Apple account.

Next comes 'Patience'. It's quiet a tradition on iOS where they giveaway various apps for free of cost. So, every year there's a period when 'Whatsapp' is completely free on iOS, i.e, lifetime subscription.
So have patience and wait for that period to come. Don't worry, stay tuned to Hackinthus and we will let you know.

Finally, you need an 'iPhone' which you can easily borrow from one of your friends. Once you have downloaded WhatsApp from App store for free from your account, install it on your friend's iPhone with your own SIM card in it.(Don't Forget to first Log Out from his Apple account and then Log In via yours).
After installing, just enter the required data and done!!(Just for Safety message few of your buddies using iPhone and then log out from your Whatsapp's account).

Take out the SIM card and put it back into your Android phone, install WhatsApp in it via the usual procedure and then go to Settings -> Account -> Payment and you shall be greeted with this screen.

Now, I am not sure about this trick working on every single device or platform. But incase you are having any sort of problem, feel free to comment below so that we can help you out.

BlueStacks (Android App Player) Is Out For Windows 8

For those who don't know, 'BlueStacks' is just like an Android simulator where you can run all your Android apps right on your PC. Many of us will be familiar with it as we use the same software for installing 'Whatsapp On PC'.

Now, the good news is that BlueStacks has been released, or one can say optimized, for Windows 8. All the android action is now back on your PC. Users carrying Windows Phone or iOS can now easily enjoy almost all Android apps right on their PC. With 'almost' I mean it's right now filled with only 750,000 mobile apps but that's more than enough.. Right??

You can download Bluestacks via link below.

Windows Phone WhatsApp Bug

Windows Phone is undoubtedly becoming famous day by day. Microsoft has provided users with a completely different mobile interface to play with. Well, I recently got my hands on Nokia Lumia 920 and trust me it's freaking awesome!!

Now, like any normal user I too installed Whatsapp and was pretty impressed with the UI. Then, I thought why not explore the music player on this thing and as soon as I opened it I saw 'paused' button showing up. But Wait!! I never dumped any music on this thing so out of curiosity I tapped on it. Guess What!!?? From nowhere 'Whatsapp popped up'!! Strange!! It seems to happen all the time I tap on that 'paused' button. It seems any undefined space left on Windows phone opens up 'Whatsapp'. Check out the video below.

Well, Microsoft should resolve this issue as fast as possible because users are not liking it at all.

Supreme court restores SMS limit !!

BY-Harkirat Singh (Twitter)(Google+)

It was the birthday of SMS yesterday and trust me they were not happy with what they were gifted!! Its really a bad news for heavy texters because now they have to pay a little extra if they want to continue chatting. The SMS cap limiting the maximum number of SMS you can send from a mobile number to 200 is back.

The quota was introduced in 2011 by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), but was lifted by the Delhi High Court in July this year. The court said that the restriction undermines the right to freedom of expression.

Surely people are going to use cross platform messaging services like WhatsApp and Viber, like the last time when their download was increased in leaps and bounds when this restriction was imposed.

The move was met with a lot of criticism from the masses, many of whom send more than 100 messages per day, instead of actually making calls. It also exposed a flaw in the setup, which stated that a person with multiple SIM cards wouldn't really feel the pinch.

While the new decision to lift the cap to accommodate 200 SMS per day, per SIM still puts a limit to the maximum number of SMS one can send in a day, it was by all means welcome news.

Facebook To Buy Mobile Chat App WhatsApp Rumour

By Harsh Vardhan (Facebook) (Twitter)

If reports are to be believed, which may turn out to be rumor but for now it seems Facebook is looking to buy multi-platform instant messaging application WhatsApp in a bid to improve its mobile services.

Citing sources close to the matter, Tech Crunch reports the social networking giant has shown keen interest in acquiring WhatsApp. The site, however, could not provide more information about the possible price range or the talks are in which stage right now. Facebook and WhatsApp are yet to comment on the reports.

Buying WhatsApp would make a lot of sense for Facebook, which has of late looked to tap its mobile services to up revenues. WhatsApp, launched in 2009, announced in October last year that it had more than 100 million daily users across the world, sending and receiving 1 billion messages per day. These impressive figures might have prompted Facebook to bring in such features to its social network. It's notable WhatsApp has users base across multiple mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Phone.

Right now it's not clear exactly what Facebook would do with WhatsApp if it bought. But it is believed that the move would help deeper integration of the IM with the social networking site.

Reports of Facebook-WhatsApp deal come days after the messenger app drew harsh criticism from security and mobile researchers over the alleged security risks based on its authentication process. According to CNET, various bloggers dubbed the process a “security nightmare”, alleging the app leaked data collected off the device when it's being relayed to services.

Recently, WhatsApp suffered a glitch that showed “error:uknown” as contact status. According to reports, the glitch had affected thousands of users worldwide. The bug was followed by a hoax message urging people who use the app to forward a message to all their contacts or face having their accounts deleted. Read more about the WhatsApp glitch here.

Let us know what you feel about this post.

Voice For WhatsApp Beta Released [Download Link]

By Harsh Vardhan (Facebook) (Twitter)

Its long time since Whats App has been updated with something new apart from Bug fixes and smooth layout users haven't had a real update to change the awesomeness of this App. Google have however improved a lot on it's voice features to meet the competition with Siri-Personal Assistance and has moved down to a level of App integration on voice. Using these supported features on Android Xda-developer has added Whats App with voice commands.

Please note this is not any official update from Whats App, however the developer has tried to provide you with voice command without much bugs and we would like to hear from you if you face any difficulties installing/using this Mod.

The Explanation provided is something like this:

"It is an application that allows you to work with WhatsApp by voice, both to listen and to send messages.
When you receive a notification of WhatsApp, the program will read the message. If the device is on, try to read it and give you the option to answer orally, if it is off (the screen) when you unlock it will try to do it."

Having your messages read to you can be a great help when you can’t take the time to look at your device. Of course, this is in beta, and that means there are some issues. The biggest known bug is the voice will read the time and date instead of the text messages sometimes.

Wait a second!! How are you even going to receive an SMS on a computer? HAHA now, here comes the tricky part. We’ll take an alternative route, to be called – 'voice verification'. WhatsApp will wait for 5 minutes expecting the verification SMS to arrive on your computer and then prompt for an alternate way for verification. Wait for those 5 minutes to get over.
