Apple and Samsung are going through major legal issues and we all are very familiar with it. Inspite of all this Samsung has to supply Apple with hardware as a part of contract between them.
The Apple iPad 4 A6x processor chip with dual-core CPU and quad-core GPU was designed by Apple but manufactured by Samsung Electronics. Samsung used the 32 nm technology to manufacture the A6x chip,similar to the one used on Exynos 5 chip.
According to some sources, Apple iPad mini display panels is manufactured by LG and AU, as Apple preferred them over Samsung.
