Will tizen be able to compete with Android and ios ?

                                             It looks like samsung and intel are working really hard on their new operating system tizen.Hearing TIZEN you might be thinking 
                  
      What is this tizen ?
                        
                      So,let me tell you tizen is the new operating system that is being developed by intel and samsung on linux platform and is based on andvanced HTML5.After releasing the version 1,tizen has made a step forward and is working on tizen 2 and has released its SDK on 25th SEP.


                                                         Tizen 2.0 alpha source code and SDK are now available. We encourage developers to start working with these new features and functionality and provide feedback that can be used to improve Tizen during the final stages of its development. You can visit the community page to learn more about participating in the Tizen project.
Tizen 2.0 alpha has additional features, tools, and other improvements, including:
  • Enhanced Web framework that provides better HTML5/W3C API support and more Tizen Device APIs
    • Multi-process Webkit2-based Web Runtime which provides better security and reliability for Web applications
    • Advanced HTML5 features such as video subtitles and captions, battery status API, screen orientation API, <keygen> and <details>, and more
    • New Tizen Device APIs for file transfer, notifications, and power control
  • Advanced IDE & SDK for Web application development
    • Install manager support for snapshot-based network installation
    • Enhanced support for OpenGL ES
  • New Platform SDK that helps platform development based on OBS
APPLICATIONS:
 
Tizen will provide a robust and flexible environment for application developers, based on HTML5 and Wholesale Applications Community (WAC). With HTML5's robust capabilities and cross platform flexibility, it is rapidly becoming the preferred development environment for mobile apps and services. The Tizen SDK and API will allow developers to use HTML5 and related web technologies to write applications that run across multiple device segments, including smartphone, tablet, smart TV, in-vehicle infotainment, and netbook.
