Course Notes Beta : Review

There are many developers out there developing apps for user's entertainment purposes, but very few out there who utilize this platform to spread education and one them is Burrow Applications.

Burrow Applications has been developing apps for quiet a time now and all of them are pretty useful. One of their famous app that we reviewed was App Manager For Android.

They are back with something that will surely turn out to be useful for all those who are pursuing graduation. Its called Course Notes. Its right under Beta testing so that they can gather reviews from audience and come up with something they want.

We used this app personally for a while and found it quite useful as we too are pursuing graduation. This app has a very clean and easy-to-use interface with right and left slider similar to Facebook's mobile application.
As soon as you open the app, you will be welcomed with a list of subjects which can be sorted in any order depending on class number, name, last updated and contain subjects varying from Biology,Anthropology,Physiology, Introduction to C,U.S History,Lethal and Ethical Event of Business,Chemistry and many more.

You can then select the subject you have interest in and a right slider will come up which will contain different chapters and presentations that they have arranged from different universities and compiled to deliver what you want at your finger tips.

No need to Google course and books. No need of making accounts on different cloud storage sites to download books. Its that simple and easy.
As soon as you select the chapter you want to study it will be downloaded in left hand slider and then you can open and study it whenever you feel like. Just a small little thing that I would suggest is that they should provide the size of the file that has to be downloaded.

I would suggest all our reader to do try this app and I'm sure you guys will find it really useful.

"DeblurIt" An App To Deblur Your Pics !!

There are plenty of smartphones in the market with pretty decent cameras but there are always some pics which are little blurred but are really great. No doubt the photos taken from smartphones cannot be compared with that of professional cameras and there are always chances of photo being of poor quality and blurred.

So Xda-member Standy66 thought of  a solution and developed a app based on de-convolution theory .There are certain features where you can choose the Blur type,Smoothness
and radius of the image which you want to get deblurred.DeblurIt supports images up to 4096×4096 pixels, can export to PNG and JPEG, and will operate in the background and notify you when the process is complete.

While commonly used "unsharp mask" filter just detects the edges and adds them to the original image, deconvolution uses information within the image to approximately restore the original state and fix photo blur.

Try out this awesome app and let us know How did you like it ??

Get Your Facebook And Twitter Feeds Right On Your Home Screen With This Live Wallpaper !!

In Today's world social media has become an integral part in our lives because it keeps us connected, helps following the band we love, getting important news, entertainment or anything you name, and Mobile devices have given them new heights. What makes these mobile so useful,Its the OS and Apps that keeps them driving.

Keeping this in mind Xda-developer Stilv has created an Live wallpaper which lets you set your home screen to be Facebook or twitter timeline and you can see all your feeds on the home screen without even opening the official app.The apps are named as Facebook magic and Twitter magic.I tried this app myself but was not quite impressed with it's lite version and when people don't enjoy your lite version why  would they buy the paid one ?

Both the apps are quite similar in their functionality, you just need to download the app and connect your Facebook or twitter account and set it as your live wallpaper and done you will get all your feeds on your screen. What else do you need,Life's made more easy right ??

But there's a little glitch the lite version refreshes feeds at every 12 hours which is not really good but the paid version provides your with options like  2, 5, 10, 15, 20, or 30 minute update.

"One Power Guard " An app to save your battery !!

By-Rustam Ali

From the advent of newer smartphones, battery backup has been degrading. For that problem also companies have found out a way by using advanced batteries. But the problem lies here that as the batteries are getting advanced so are the applications, which finally leads to degrading of battery backup.
So in order to overcome this problem XDA developers have developed an application which brings an all-in-one approach to battery life and phone tweaking. You can adjust pretty much anything, including the I/O scheduler, CPU governor, CPU over- or under-clocking, settings tweaks, and more.
There are various modes for power saving included in this application, which are :-

-AI Mode: It intelligently adjusts cpu frequency and optimizes kernel to greatly extend battery time according to system loading.

-Powersave Mode: It runs devices under low frequency to extend standby time.
Game/Video Mode: It provides flow game and video experience while offering satisfactory power-saving strategy.

-Call Mode: It powers up the core function of phone conservation. For business persons trapping by phone.
Standby Mode: It lowers system frequency and prolongs stand-by time to the extreme. For sleepers and dreamers.

-Custom Mode: It indulges pros to customize cpu frequence, scheduling and io adjustment, and to choose parameters of their own.

One Power Guard is simple enough for an Android beginner to understand, yet powerful enough for advanced users.
You can get this application from here.
