How To Hide A Drive In Windows !!

Hiding things and sending secret messages is not a Practice of this era.It has been in our civilization from the evolution of human kind,but this era is a little different and need HI-TECH methods to keep their Data secure and hidden.

You might be accustomed with normal procedure of hiding a file or folder with normal hide and show hidden file procedures but how about hiding the whole drive ?? Confused,No need to be,this is possible with simple registry hacking technique and a simple software called NoDevicesmanager .Not only this you can even hide DVD and CD drives .

Here's a screen shot of the application,you can see the names of multiple drives named A: to Z:,just check the drive you want to hide and click on save changes,You can also set a password to the application so that there is no Unauthorised usage.

This is a very important tool for people who don't posses a Hard Disk.They can easily create a small partition in the windows and hide their secret Photos,Videos,important Documents etc,and no one will ever know !!

Note- You have to restart windows explorer or even your system for this change to take place !!

Registry hacking to Increase Touch Screen Responsiveness on the Microsoft Surface

When we buy a laptop or mobile phone, their performance level is locked to a certain level even if they can work to a higher level for reasons such as prohibiting more power usage or more memory usage. But if you want to increase the limit of any of the features you just have to hack into your system and change its limit. Today i will be telling you how to increase the touch screen responsiveness on the Microsoft Surface, this is a very small and easy kind of hack which includes Registry modification.

Procedure-

• Search "regedit" and Run Registry Editor in your Microsoft Surface.
• Go to this key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TouchPredict ion
• Edit key for latency from 8 to 2.
• Edit sample time from 8 to 2
• Restart your Surface

Now your Surface is ready with increased touch screen responsiveness but there is a small disadvantage of this, that is the battery backup will decrease by a small amount as the screen draws more power.

Creating new hard disk partitions in Windows 7 or Vista

Normally when you purchase a PC, the number of partitions provided for hard disk do not seem adequate and you have no other choice than compromising with it. What if you could create hard disk partitions by yourself in your PC??

It is possible and today i will explain you the steps in order to create a new hard disk partition in your Windows 7 or Vista PC.

1.Click on Start button.  

2.Type Disk Management in the search column.

  
3.Select Create and format hard disk partitions.

4.Select the Drive from which you can draw the required memory to create a new partition. In my case i am having space in D Drive.

5.Right click on the D Drive and select Shrink Volume.

6.It will take some time and then show you a dialog box as shown below 

7.In the space provided Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB, enter the memory. As in my case i have entered 10240 MB that equals 10 GB.

8.Then click on Shrink which will create a new volume of 10 GB and will be showed in green color that is free memory.

9.Right click on New simple volume and then just keep pressing next.

10.At last a new partition will be created.

Nokia May Release 10-inch Window RT Tablet at MWC 2013

Nokia has made a major comeback to the smartphone market with it's LUMIA series which runs on Windows Phone. And now it looks like they are all set launch their very own first Windows RT Lumia tablet.

According to sources, a Taiwan based supply chain manufacturer is claiming to have information about Nokia's Windows RT Tablet that will be revealed at Mobile World Congress 2013(MWC) in Barcelona during 25th-28th February. Reports also shows that Nokia is in talk with Microsoft and Qualcomm for this 10 inch Lumia tablet. 

Rumors might be correct as almost all leading smartphone companies are out there with a tablet of their own and Nokia will not be sitting behind with just smartphones.

Microsoft Surface Pro Announced, $899 for 64GB And $999 for 128GB

Microsoft announced it's newer version of tablet PC "Surface Pro" on Thursday, successor of Surface purposely built for business users. It will be available January onwards carrying a price tag of $899 for 64GB variant and $999 for  128GB variant.

The Surface Pro is powered with an Intel Processor and runs on Windows 8 Pro OS. Panos Panay from Microsoft posted on blog saying "It's a full PC AND a tablet". "And all this in a PC that will weigh less than two pounds and be less than 14 millimeters thick. We are excited about both Surface with Windows RT and Surface with Windows 8 Pro." he added.

The Surface Pro is way expensive than Surface and is aimed for those who are looking for laptop replacement.

Windows Phone 7.8 Coming Early Next Year

All Windows Phone users are eagerly waiting for Windows Phone 7.8 to release. Well, today Microsoft finally shed some light on it by announcing that they will start shipping it during the first quarter of 2013. They haven't come up with an exact date as of now.

Microsoft confirmed that existing Windows Phone 7.5 users will experience the new windows OS, as well some of the new devices shipping around that period.

The Next Technology Jump Is Coming

We have all been in the trend where disruption is inevitable. Since the launch of computers it has always been replaced with something smaller always. Be it where it started from the rooms, then it moved on to our desks, slowly it sat on our lap and then finally occupied our palms. We have seen this thing from the past. So where is the next future focusing to? It seems that Google Glasses and Microsoft have already started working to change recent trend straight to our faces.

Lately we have heard about the Google Glasses which is a downloadable image recognition application created by Google Inc. which can be currently found on the Mobile Apps page of Google Mobile. It is used for searches based on pictures taken by handheld devices. For example, taking a picture of a famous landmark would search for information about it, or taking a picture of a product's bar code will search for information on the product. Developers who wants to program their software on it can already buy it.

Recently it has been reported that another technology giant Microsoft is also working on the project something similar like Google Glasses and it has filed some patents on the project and Unwired View dug them up.

Although the idea seems to be same for both company to work on there's a big difference. On one side Google Glass isn't going to use "augmented reality" – where data and illustrations overlay the actual world around you but on the other side Microsoft's glasses seem to utilize augmented reality. In a patent illustration we've embedded below, you can see that the glasses put data on top of a live action concert and a ballgame.

Here's how you can do !!!

Step 1: Back up your current system


This is always a good practice when you are tweaking an operating system. The risk of losing data is usually pretty low, but you don’t want files to disappear the one and only time you didn’t back up.

Step 2: Create a new partition on your hard drive

Step 3: Obtain your copy of Windows 8

Depending on how you want to purchase the new OS, you can install it either by DVD or by USB drive. If you purchase a copy in your friendly local computer store, you’ll be using the DVD and DVD drive approach in the next step

Step 4: Install Windows 8 in the new partition

STEP 5 :Install Windows 8

 On the next screen, select the Unallocated Space we created earlier and click Next.

STEP 6: Dual-Booting

               Finally Microsoft took a the decision of launching office on android and ios devices.As reported by theverge ,it has learned through several sources close to Microsoft's plans that the company will release Office versions for Android and iOS in early 2013.

 


                             Office Mobile, as it's dubbed, would let Microsoft account users view Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files on their mobile devices. But, the Verge added, editing the documents would require an Office 365 subscription.According to The Verge report, Microsoft will release the apps for free. 

 A spokesperson for Microsoft reportedly told reporters that “Office will work across Windows Phone, iOS and Android.”This is a real good news for all the smartphone users.there were 3rd party apps which supported the following format but having Microsoft office will give a complete different experience.Lets see how successful will it be.

Internet Explorer 10 will be available for Windows in November.

Before Microsoft could Launch, Halo 4 Leaked on Torrents

The Gaming industry has lot of buzz recently with the upcoming launch of Halo 4 but it's been reported that 343 copies of such industrial DVD's have already been leaked. Microsoft is trying to get to the bottom of the whole story about how such leak could happen probably before it's official release.

The Above photos shows the leaked image of the DVD already there on some of the websites but the image is not confirmed yet.
Disk 1 contains the campaign and Disk 2 contains Multiplayer installation, Forge, Spartan Ops and Theater Mode.

Well apart from such news the Game is already available on some of the Torrents sites.

After getting news from the source we took a quick search on the Torrent site and found it correct.

As declared by this torrent website Going Online can be dangerous as the Game Official release is on 6th November

Lots of people have already downloaded the game and the game is already played in the Campaign mode without any problem. But to make sure to enjoy the Multiplayer the Gamers have to buy the original disc. However we can't reach for any conclusion about how such possible leak occurred.
