First Official Galaxy Note II N7100 Firmwares Now Online

First Official Galaxy Note II N7100 Firmwares Now Online

There’s no disputing the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note II is a beast. This thing is gigantic in every respect. Whether it’s screen size, internal storage, or RAM; there isn’t another device out there that measures up. That also appears to extend to its official firmwares, which weigh in at a whopping 1043 MB.

This particular update seems to be generating a fair bit of excitement, as it brings the “Multi Window” feature that had been been previously unavailable to some device owners out of the box. Of course you don’t need to actually own the device to download this and pick it apart. Perhaps this rather nifty feature may even make its way to other Samsung devices (i9100 first please, nudge nudge, wink wink…). There are likely plenty of other things worth checking out in there as well. At least one would hope so in a ROM that size.

If you are looking to update to this latest firmware, this can be flashed via Odin. You should have rooted your NOTE II and be aware that if you are from a region outside of Europe, this will alter your CSC. Head on over to the stock firmware link to get started.
