Its surprising to see people are still running on Donut and Eclairs but good news is that 10% of total android users have switched to Jelly bean the latest version of android.As per data released on 3 January 2013, Jelly Bean now accounts for 10.2% of devices, with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.x) now present on an impressive 29.1% of the devices. Gingerbread (Android 2.x) is still going strong, but is finally below the 50% mark for the first time since reaching that milestone.
While Jelly Bean's share of this green Android pie is still small compared to Ice Cream Sandwich and Gingerbread, Google's latest treat did manage to grow quite a bit since last month because it rolled out its jelly bean update for Razr HD,S3 and other high end phones.
If you compare it with iOS you will see that as soon as iOS6 was released in a week over 50% devices were running on latest ios version.
