According to a recent news apple has been charged with the violation of the facetime app.According to VirnetX, Apple’s FaceTime and iMessage services violate their patents which involve establishing a secure communications link. The company also held that Apple should have paid them a licensing fee before using the technology in their Macs, music players, tablets and smartphones.

Shares of VirnetX Holding Corp jumped 27 per cent after a jury asked Apple Inc to pay about $368 million to the Internet security software maker for infringement of four patents.
“Apple says they don’t infringe, but Apple developers testified that they didn’t pay any attention to anyone’s patents when developing their system,” explained a lawyer for VirnetX, according to the BBC.
It might be a mistake by the developers at apple, but it costed them a huge sum of money, ha ha no i dont think so,the amount they have paid is nothing for a company who has $123.1 billion of on-hand cash.
