Amazon has finally launched Kindle Store in India. The store allows user to purchase e-books in Indian currency. The company has also revealed that the Kindle e-reader will now be available at Croma stores across India.
The e-reader has been priced starting Rs, 6,999.
According to Amazon, the Indian Kindle e-book store will include titles from a range of Indian authors, including Chetan Bhagat, Ashwin Sanghi, Ravinder Singh and Amish Tripathi. There are some exclusive titles in the store as well such as "Love, Life and a Beer Can" by Prashant Sharma, and "Reality Bites; a not so innocent Love Story" by Anurag Anand.
"We are proud to launch this new Kindle store for Indian customers - offering Kindle book purchases in rupees and the ability to buy and read the work of many great Indian authors," said Russ Grandinetti, vice president of Kindle Content, Amazon.com.

I bought my Kindle store from Croma lower parel. I was not only very happy with the quality of the product but was also pleased by the way the staff at Croma treated me. I have experience a great customer service till the date at Croma.
