Google's new feature the Google Now has been released and since the time of release this feature has continued to improve. Its current update has a lot of new features in the Google Play Store which includes :-

-For Android 4.1+ (Jelly Bean), Google Search keeps getting faster
- Events nearby
- Suggestions to help with your research
- Boarding passes from Gmail (United only, more to come)
- Search by camera when at museums or shops
- Weather at upcoming travel destinations
- Approximate monthly summary of walking and biking activity
- Birthdays
New voice actions:
- Say “What’s this song?” to find the song you hear
- Say “Scan a bar-code” to find product info

Users have been using some of the new features and feel contented with it. Most loved feature by the users is the voice command for playing music and posting on Google+. For those with Google Now already on their devices, simply head over to the Google Now Play Store page and update the application. If you’re on Ice Cream Sandwich or earlier, and you’re using a modified version, you’ll have to wait for developers to update it manually.
