HTC One X gets Android 4.0.4 ICS OTA Update Introducing Sense 4.1

The HTC Corporation flagship model HTC One X is highly cared by HTC now. One X is simply the winner with killer specifications and clear winner in the benchmarks results, though it was sidelined by amazing Samsung Galaxy S III. We are pretty sure that this device will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in the coming weeks but right now device receives the Android 4.0.4 update from its earlier existing Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. One X update
One this update is available to all the countries one by one, then there will be update to bigger and better Jelly Bean. Good news for the International owner of One X smart phone as it gets an Over the Air update available right now in Germany and Romania first and then followed with other European countries. It will be launched slowly to different countries where One X is available for purchase.
Enhancements & Improvements
This update to One X smart phone is to provide the stock web browser experience and it also includes the enhanced quality of the camera using the ImageSense update. Among the big update included in this firmware update is the release of new HTC Sense 4.1 user interface. Going from Sense 4.0 to Sense 4.1 you will see smoother home screen animations and update to the notifications bar. The new notification bar feature “Quick Settings” tab.
So to list down all the improvements and enhancements included in this update are -
  • Introducing HTC Sense 4.1
  • New Smoother Home screen animations
  • No lags
  • New Notification bar with Quick Settings tab
  • Performance improvements in stock web browser
  • Enhanced Image quality
This update is of file size 148 MB and we recommend users to proceed with this update while they are connected with Wi Fi as the file size is too much. You will be charged accordingly to your Wi Fi data plans which is obviously less than the charged incurred on download using the 3G or 4G LTEspeed, however this depends upon you. And also before going through the update you should back up your mobile phone data as during the process of this firmware update all the data would be lost.
To update your device, go through Settings > About Phone and then tap on the Check Now underUpdate option.
