How to root the Galaxy Note (SAFEST - No Loss of DATA) (N7000 - ICS Only)

Please watch the video in case you have any doubt or follow the procedure below.


Note: It will not work on Gingerbread. You will need ICS on ur phone will work on 4.0.3 and 4.0.4

None of your data will be lost.

You will need an external SD card. Download two files.

1.Transfer both the files (do not unzip)  to your external SD card. (root of your SD card)
2Now keeping the phone in  Switch-on mode hold the up volume button, power button and the home button together until the phone restarts and you will see Samsung galaxy note display.
3.It will take you to android system recovery.(Your volume key will work as the scroll-er.
And the power button will used to select.)
4.Scroll down to Apply Update from external storage.
5.Then go to CWM.zip and use the power button to select it.
6.Wait while it does it thing.
7.Now you will have CWM recovery which is temporary.
8.Select Install zip from SD card (you can use the touch screen to select it)
9.Now go to choose zip from internal SD card.
10.Select Super SU busy box installer and then hit again yes install.
11.Once it says install from SD card complete go back and reboot system.

Your Samsung Galaxy Note is rooted.
