Developed by thunder07 over on popular development and hacking forums XDA-Developers, the One X One Click software for Windows is an all in one toolkit that will root, flash RUUs, kernels and recoveries, reboot phone into recovery / bootloader mode and more! It’s quite likely the only desktop program you will need for all your hacking and flashing activities.
The developer has explicitly stated the pre-requisites for using the all in one toolkit. You will need to unlock your One X’s bootloader from HTCdev.com/bootloader (choose All Other Supported Models), ClockworkMod Recovery, USB debugging enabled from Settings > Developers Tools, and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.
Once you’ve met these pre-requisites you just connect your One X with your PC and select whatever it is that you want to do whether it’s flashing kernels, recoveries or rebooting into bootloader mode, or rooting your device with one click. The developer has mentioned additional details and instructions in the official thread which has been linked at the bottom.
If you have an HTC One X and intend to make good use of all that untapped power, you owe it to yourself to get this toolkit. Just be careful to be clear on what rooting, flashing kernels / recoveries etc. means for your device. And as always, be sure to take a NANDroid backup.
